About

Rebecca Webb, Ph.D.

I started my journey to become a psychologist after taking an abnormal psychology course in college at the University of North Carolina at Asheville—I was immediately hooked! I’ve always been drawn to helping people, and I knew the practice of psychology was the right fit for me. In particular, I’ve always been fascinated by how relationships effect the individual (and vice versa). This fascination led me to complete by doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where I studied romantic relationships and couples therapy, in addition to my training in individual psychotherapy.

During the past ten years, I’ve lived in Seattle and have worked in medical settings as well as in private practice. I’ve treated individuals and couples with a wide variety of challenges including relationship issues, stress due to life transitions (such as becoming a parent, getting married, changing jobs, etc.), grief, infertility, and anxiety. I’m passionate about working with a diverse range of clients, and I’m an LGBTQIA-affirming therapist.

For therapy to be most helpful, it’s important to have the right “fit” with a therapist. I know that it can be difficult to reach out to a therapist, especially if you’re new to the process. My goal is to make connecting with me as easy as possible, and I provide a free 15-minute phone consultation to answer any questions you might have.
